Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Hamilton Sundstrand Space Systems International, Inc., Windsor Locks, CT for Interim Spare and Repair Parts for the Automatic Flight Control Computer (AFCC) Test Set, Part Number AD44007-1, including the following parts: Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46001-11; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46001-12; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46001-13; Power Supply, Aircraft, P/N AD46001-20; Power Supply, Aircraft, P/N AD46001-26; Power Supply, Aircraft, P/N AD46001-27; Turnbuckle, Aircraft, P/N AD46001-32; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46003-1; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46003-2; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46007-11; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46007-12; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46007-13; Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46007-14; and Circuit Card Assembly, P/N AD46007-21. The proposed acquisition is for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own drawings or specification. Hamilton Sundstrand holds the technical drawings, specifications, and data rights to manufacture the support equipment. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
