Description: The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, using simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Jonathan Katz, for support for the Office of International Affairs (OIA). The Contractor shall review and assess India?s current securities regulatory structure and securities market structure and advise as to whether existing entities in India are capable of performing self-regulatory functions or whether new entities will be required to perform self-regulatory functions. The period of performance will be through May 31, 2007. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be used.
