- Description
- The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to incorporate technical changes to the specifications, delete three (3) minimum specifications, add information to the technical evaluation criteria, and extend the due date for quotations by one day. The due date for quotations is hereby changed as follows: FROM: 3:30 PM Local Time on August 31, 2006 TO: 3:30 PM Local Time on September 1, 2006 1. Under Line Item 0001, specifications (g), (h), and (m), are hereby deleted in their entirety. 2. Specifications (c), (e), (f), and (i), are hereby changed to read as follows: Specification (c): FROM: Number of views: Not less than 6; TO: Number of views: Not less than 3. Preference shall be given to equipment with a greater number of views; Specification (e) FROM: Measurement uncertainty: Less than 5micrometers; TO: Measurement uncertainty: Less than 10 micrometers. Preference shall be given to equipment with smaller measurement uncertainty; Specification (f) FROM: Length deviation (two sphere spacing): Less than 3 micrometers; TO: Length deviation: Less than 10 micrometers. Preference shall be given to equipment with smaller length deviation; Specification (i) FROM: Projectors must be digital, and capable of at least three sinusoidal images; TO: Projectors must be digital. 3. The paragraph beginning ?Evaluation of Technical Capability?? is hereby changed to read as follows: FROM: Evaluation of Technical Capability shall be based on the information provided in the quotation. Quoters shall include the manufacturer, make and model of the product, manufacturer sales literature or other product literature which CLEARLY DOCUMENTS that the offered product meets or exceeds the specifications stated herein. TO: Evaluation of Technical Capability shall be based on the information provided in the quotation. Quoters shall include the manufacturer, make and model of the product, manufacturer sales literature or other product literature which CLEARLY DOCUMENTS that the offered product meets or exceeds the specifications stated herein. In determining best value, strongest consideration shall be given to smaller measurement uncertainty, smaller length deviation, and a greater number of views...
