Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Business Software Inc., 155 TECHNOLOGY PKWY STE 100, NORCROSS, GA 30092-2297. This acquisition is for the continued software maintenance licensing of Business Software Inc. software for Fiscal Year 2007 (1 Oct 2006 ? 30 Sep 2007). The software includes BSI-TAX FACTORY (ES390 DB2/390 Platform Enterprise License) at DECC St. Louis MCTFS and DECC Mechanicsburg DCPS as well as BSI-TAX FACTORY(ES390 DB2/390 Platform Enterprise License) at DECC Mechanicsburg ? FCP and DECC New Orleans ? JPMO/DIMHRS. These software licenses and enhancements are proprietary and are protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance is 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software license and enhancement renewal must request a copy of the RFQ not later than COB 17 Aug 06 via the following address: maria.meyer@disa.mil. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered. The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.*****
