- THIS MODIFICATION IS BEING ISSUED TO CHANGE TO TYPE OF SOLICITATION. THIS ACQUISITION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AS AN REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THIS ACQUISITION WILL BE ISSUED AS AN SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION, REQUEST FOR PROPSAL ON JULY 8, 2006. *************************************************************** Solicitation for End Item: Multiple Aircraft, Multiple NSNS: 1640-00-580-6795, 1640-00-580-6788, 1640-00-132-9181, 1640-00-273-3095, 1640-00-082-0655, 1640-00-580-6789, 1640-00-580-6793, 1640-00-580-6792, 1640-00-580-6794, Terminal, Wire Rope. Qualified Parts Lists (QPL) applies. Configuration Control applies, Critical Application item. Quantities will be listed in the solicitation. Unrestricted. NAICS is 336413. Other than full and Open competition, sources: Cage Codes 22277, 65196, 84596. FOB: Destination, Inspection/Acceptance: Destination and Origin. Delivery days will be specified in the solicitation. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are available and can be furnished by the Government to eligible requestors. Solicitations between $25,000 and over will be made in writing. Request for a written quote, please submit offers to fax # (804) 279-4165. Alternate offers must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package along with a completed copy of the solicitation in order to be considered for award. A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DLA Internet Bid Board System at http://dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. Then choose the RFP you wish to download. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The solicitation issue date is 31 July 2006. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
