- Description
- The 221 gravel replacement project consists of hauling and placing crushed aggregate on 7.3 miles of Forest Development Road (FDR) #221. Work includes loading, weighing, hauling. spreading, watering and compacting of aggregate from a government furnished gravel source located at Van Ridge. Project Location - From the junction of Forest Highway 17 (Mt. Idaho Road) and FDR #221 proceed south 52.3 miles on the #221 road to the junction of FDR #9905 and the beginning of the 221 project, then proceed 7.3 miles to the Allison Creek crossing and the end of the 221 project. The rock source is located on FDR #441 (Nut Basin Road) approximately 3.2 miles from its junction with FDR #221 at M.P. 48. The water source is located at the end of the project in Allison Creek. Price Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000
