Description
DFW ATCT Modernization This project includes but is not limited to: 1. Remove existing track lighting and install new flush mount can lighting. 2. Remove and replace cab light absorbing ceiling tiles. 3. Remove and replace ceiling fans. 4. Remove carpet on raised flooring in control tower cab area only. 5. Install heavy duty anti-static carpet on raised flooring in the control tower cab area only. 6. Remove and replace cab window shades (Double shades on west side of east tower and east side of west tower). 7. Repaint handrail (cab stair only). 8. Re-seal smoke room, replace vent fan, and reroute exhaust. 9. Install intercom to existing PBX. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has programs to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0??million per contract. The DOT provides an 80??percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT short Term receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
