Description

Contract shall provide all materials, labor, disposal and transportation required to provide full service maintenance and repair services for the Sterilization Systems (Amsco, Steris, and American Sterilizer) located at the VA Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, in accordance with statement of work in the solicitation. The Government expects to award a firm fixed priced contract for a base year (October 1, 2006 thru September 30, 2007) and four option years. Work must begin no later than October 1, 2006. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFP will be advertised on or about August 4, 2006 as a 100% Small Business set-a-side, with a NAICS Code of 811219 with the size standard of $6.5 M. The range of this solicitation is between $50,000.00 and $75,000.00 per year. Interested Offerors may obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation free by e-mailing calvin.thomas@va.gov . Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
