Description

Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations including the demolition and removal of existing interior structures and miscellaneous equipment, and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work of projects 538-06-112 and 538-06-113 "Renovate 24AB for DOM 35B and Renovate 24CD for DOM 35D", at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio as required by the drawings and specifications. New work will include the construction of interior partitions, ceiling systems, interior finishes, HVAC equipment and associated ductwork, electrical including nurse call and fir alarm system modifications and plumbing including the modification of fire sprinkler system as shown and specified. Work to be completed within 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Plans, specifications and drawings will be available on line. Hard copies of specifications and drawings will be available upon written request to the Contracting Officer, requests may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the DVA Medical Center, Building 1, room 121, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. This project is 100% Set-Aside for Hub-Zone Small Business. Solicitation available o/a August 18, 2006.
