- This is a modification to the announcement posted on 8/2/06 to expand the scope of the contract that VAPHS intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Plexus Institute. In addition to providing education services at the 2-day kick off meeting of the VHA MRSA Prevention Initiative, the services of this contractor are required for two additional dimensions of the Initiative as follows: 1) To provide training and education of internal PD facilitators from six participating VA hospitals that select to employ PD in their MSRA elimination initiatives. A six-month time period is estimated for these services. 2) Education and training support for these six individual participating VA hospitals over an estimated 4-5 month period. The response due date remains unchanged.
