Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-0398 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-11, effective 05 July, 2006. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.502 (a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 337215 and the small business size standard 500 employees. (v) The Contractor shall provide the following items: LINE ITEM 0001 ? BLDG 1540 SINGLE-ENTRY DRIVE-IN TYPE PALLET RACK SYSTEM (1 lot); Single-entry drive-in type pallet rack system to store rackable plastic pallets 40 in. wide x 40 in. deep with loads up to 60 in. wide x 60 in. deep x 72 in high weighing a maximum of 2,500 lbs. All racking components are to be made from structural steel components. This system will have 1 (one) single entry row 8 (eight) bays long x 2 (two) pallets deep x 3 (three) pallets high for a total of 48 pallet spaces. Manufacturer: Cisco-Eagle or EQUAL. LINE ITEM 0002 - BLDG 1246 SINGLE-ENTRY DRIVE-IN TYPE PALLET RACK SYSTEM (1 lot); Single-entry drive-in type pallet rack system to store rackable plastic pallets 40 in. wide x 40 in. deep with loads up to 60 in. wide x 60 in. deep x 72 in high weighing a maximum of 2,500 lbs. All racking components are to be made from structural steel components. This system will have 1 (one) single entry row 6 (six) bays long x 3 (three) pallets deep x 3 (three) pallets high for a total of 54 pallet spaces. Manufacturer: Cisco-Eagle or EQUAL.
