- Description
- The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source 3-month contract extension to the existing USSTRATCOM Intelligence Systems Support (ISS) contract to Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems in order to provide ?continued? ISS support until the follow-on contract is awarded. This extension will be awarded 1 October 2006 under Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is an extension to a previously competed contract. Northrop Grumman Defense Mission Systems possesses unique ongoing task experience and provides the required staffing labor mix of skills and key security clearances required by USSTRATCOM in order to provide ?continued? ISS support until a possible follow-on contract is awarded. This notice is for information only. It is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received by close of business (16:00 CDT) 9 Aug 2006 will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
