- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09 (19 Apr 2006) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20060412. It is the offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is to acquire lodging for 15 overseas attendees for the period of 11 Mar 2007 ? 18 Mar 2007 and lodging for 75 attendees for the period of 12 Mar 2007 ? 18 Mar 2007 for a total of 90 attendees. The government will only pay for those rooms occupied by appropriate designated Air Force Attendees. A conference room to accommodate 90 attendees for a two-day Air Force Training Conference for Tuesday, 13 Mar 2007 thru Wednesday 14 Mar 2007. Meeting room to be set in conference style with a table and three (3) chairs to be placed outside conference room area for registration use form 07:00 a.m. ? 09:00 a.m. on Tuesday 13 Mar 2007. Conference room rental will include riser, podium, screen and projector cart. The conference room must have adequate space between tables from 0800 ? 1700. No obstacles in conference room such as pillars to obstruct view. List of attendees will be provided within 60 days prior to the start of the conference. Lodging and conference facility MUST be within a one (1) mile radius of the San Francisco Marriott Hotel, 55 Fourth Street, San Francisco CA 94103 as this two-day conference is in conjunction with the 4th Biennial National Conference on Health and Domestic Violence already being held at the San Francisco Marriott Hotel, San Francisco CA for the period of 15-17 Mar 2007. The type of contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the Simplified Acquisition threshold of $100,000. A due date for offers will be 4:30 pm, Central Standard Time, 11 August 2006. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment; DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration and DFAR 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests.
