- Sources sought: The 316th Contracting Squadron is seeking potential sources interested in proposing on an acquisition for the purchase and installation of an electric ceremonial shade curtain. Shades are approximately 370? wide by 220? tall. Shades are to pass fire codes in an aircraft hanger on a U.S. military base. All shades will be manufactured using first quality materials and sewn with automated equipment to insure straight and true seams. Shades will come with bottom weights. Shades will be: Durable Flexible: excellent in both hot and very cold conditions Flame Resistance Fabric will not support growth of mildew Fabric must be highly resistant to acids, alkalis and solvents Fabric must have excellent water repellency Additionally, shades must be automated with electric motors for control of the shades. Shades will be able to allow the narrow shades in front of doors and the shades near each corner of the hanger to be operated either individually, in groups of four shades per switch, or all shades on one side of the hanger to raise and lower in unison.
