Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the Kansas Army National Guard Environmental Office to Develop an Environmental Awareness DVD to educate soldiers about the sensitive environme nt in which they train and the environmental policies and regulations with which they must comply. This DVD will be a revision and update of the currently existing Environmental Awareness Videotape which was produced several years ago. The contractor wil l develop an Environmental Awareness DVD for the KSARNG which will combine previously shot video footage with new video footage, photos, graphics/animation, and voice over narration in producing the final product. This DVD will also use a variety of visua l information techniques in order to effectively convey its message, including (but not limited to) text, sound, music and animated graphics with an approximate video length of twenty-five (25) minutes. Deliverables will be Task 1: Kick-off Meeting; Task 2: Site Visit; Taks 3: Draft Environmental Awareness DVD Product; and Task 4: Final Environmental Awareness DVD Product. Firms that recognize and can produce the required product described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible so urces may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. To be illegible for award, the offeror MUST provide at least one reference of a prior project similar in scope. Award will be made to the offeror presenting the lowest price and who represents the best value to the government based on previous experience and the quality and satisfaction of the previous proje ct.
