- Description
- The work of this contract consists of replacing the existing deteriorated fuel tank and supply lines at the Glacier Bay Lodge administrative area located in Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve, Alaska. The Contractor will supply all materials, transportation, equipment, and supervision to complete the project, the only exception being that the Government will supply the 1100 gallon replacement AST, attached spill prevention and sensing equipment, and an anti-siphon valve. The work may be completed in phases and must be started after Glacier Bay Lodge has closed for the season starting on 9/11/2006, and completed before they reopen starting on 4/1/2007, to minimize the impact of disrupted heating fuel supply to the Lodge Administrative area. All Goverment Furnsihed Equipment (GFE) will be onsite near the existing fuel tank for the scheduled site vist and prior to the selected contractor starting work under this contract..
