Geological Survey, EESPT Reston, VA intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Beta Analytic, Inc, Miami, FL to perform radiocarbon dating on samples from sediment cores collected in Chesapeake Bay and the Florida Everglades. As a result of market research we have concluded that Beta Analytic, Inc. is the only known vendor whose qualifications meet our essential requirements. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about August 8, 2006 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00.
