Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is soliciting proposals for a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task order contract to provide administrative and logistical support services for CDC activities in the Central Asia Republics and other countries of the former Soviet Union. Services that will be ordered on an as-needed basis include interpretation and translation services, event planning and travel services, technical assistance, and a variety of miscellaneous other services such as shipping of goods, warehousing/storage services, video/photography services, security services, etc. This procurement is a full and open competition. The successful contractor must have the proven ability to provide a full range of administrative and logistical support services for the implementation of training and related activities in a region where the primary written and spoken language is Russian, have the ability to provide customer service and produce materials in both English and Russian and other local languages of the former Soviet Union, and be able to legally conduct business in the countries of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turjmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The successful contractor must also have a physical office in Central Asia, and preferably, the Caucasus region. This is a new requirement, therefore there is not an incumbent contractor. The period of performance will be five years from date of award. The anticipated award date is February 2006. The NAICS Code is 541990. The size standard is $6.0 million. Solicitation 2006-N-08235 will be posted on-line at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about October 3, 2005.
