Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Scytale Inc, Ellicott City, MD., for installation and maintenance of CARDS database software. This contract is a follow-on contract for the original installation of CARDS software. Scytale is the developer of the software and the only authorized reseller. The estimated period of performance for this effort is 12 months. This is a sole source procurement pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) and 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Firms that recognize that they can perform the required services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 11 August 06. The final determination by the Government whether or not to open this requirement to competition based on information provided is solely within the sole discretion of the Government. All responsibe sources will be given consideration. Only written responses will be considered. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-AUG-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
