- Description
- The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to award a sole source contract to Vision Research Company to furnish the following: CLIN0001: (4) each Phantom 9 memory upgrade from 6114 MB to 12,288 MB, and CLIN0002: Portable network controllers with gigabit ethernet for Phantom V9.0. Vision Research shall install additional memory in each of 4 Phantom 9, high-speed digital imagers, attaining 12,228MB of memory in each of the Phantom 9’s, and install the latest Phantom 9 software to each of the 3 Portable network controller. This also includes testing of the portable network controllers with the installed software insuring the system will capture at the rate of 1000 frames per second for the duration fo no less than 6.4 seconds, using the upgrade Phantom 9’s as part of the system test. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 333315 with a business size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 14 days after date of publication of this synopsis. All questions must be submitted NOT LATER THAN 2 days prior to the proposal end date. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
