- Amendment to Solicitation Number: USTDA-06-Q-21-236, Definitional Mission Project for Wastewater Treatment in Morocco and Jordan. Please find in Annex VII under Project Profiles/Background Information in Paragraph Five about the requirement for the DM Contractor traveling to Morocco states in the last sentence “Given that most meetings in Morocco will be conducted in French, the Contractor must be proficient in the language.” Additional sentences have been added, which states that “USTDA shall accept an interpreter under this requirement to accompany a sector technical expert for the meetings and/or assist with documents translations. This cost was included in the Government’s estimate for this work; therefore, the cost is still not to exceed the solicitation amount of $50,000. Also, under Annex II USTDA Nationality Requirements in Paragraph Two shall read as “The Definitional Mission rule is as follows: Award is limited to U.S. firms or U.S. individuals. Contractor and U.S. subcontractor employees used shall be either U.S. citizens or non-U.S. citizens lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the United States. Contractor use of subcontractors is limited to less than fifty percent of the proposed price. International transportation and insurance must have their nationality, source and origin in the United States. Local lodging, food, interpreter, and transportation in the hose country are not subject to this restriction.” NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (04-AUG-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
