Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8231), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to Sterling Commerce (America) Inc, 13665 Dulles Technology Drive, Herndon, VA 20171-4607. This acquisition is for the FY07 renewal of software maintenance for Connect: Direct for OS/390 at SSO Mechanicsburg and Ogden. These software licenses and enhancements are proprietary and are protected by copyright laws. No third party maintenance is authorized. Period of performance is 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software license and enhancement renewal must request a copy of the RFQ not later than COB 5 Sep 06 via the following address: maria.meyer@disa.mil.
