Description
The Idaho National Laboratory (INL) has discovered new uses of materials and processes and apparatuses for reducing emissions from gas streams. The material has unique properties for absorbing sulfur, mercury, and other pollutants. The material is also abundant and economical. The process appears to be economical and ideal for reducing emissions in gas streams from gasification processes and other processes. Further details about the technology may be provided upon inquiry. The INL is soliciting interest from qualified partners interested in participating in projects and commercializing this technology. It is anticipated that the project will be carried out through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with funding support being provided by the participant(s). The INL is seeking patent protection on the process and rights to practice the intellectual property may be licensed exclusively or nonexclusive. The INL invites interested parties to contact us regarding the details of licensing and implementing this technology. Note that a nondisclosure agreement will be necessary to discuss the technology in detail. Interested parties should respond within two weeks of the first posting of this notice. For questions regarding the technology, licensing, and working with the INL, please contact Jason Stolworthy or Richard Boardman: BUSINESS POINT OF CONTACT: Jason C. Stolworthy, J.D., M.S.
