- The U.S Department of Homeland Security, National Acquisition Center, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price, Commercial type contract with Motorola, Inc. in accordance with FAR Part 6.302. Multiple awards are not being sought. The vendor shall provide and install two (2) new RNC3000s with six (6) RNC encryption modules, load the appropriate operating system and software in the RNC3000s and configure the RNC software for proper operations. The vendor shall assist CBP personnel in building/loading proper database information. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this Notice must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten calendar days from the date of publication. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide a system as defined/described in this Notice. Hargett-Evans, Contract Specialist No telephone submission of information will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
