Description

Provide preventive maintenance services of a Sterrad sterilizer and two(2) automatic endoscope reprocessors for the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Contract period is from October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007 with two (2) one year renewal option. This solicitation is for full and open competition. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, 15, and 17 award procedures. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 28, 2006 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Offers are due September 13, 2006 at 3:30pm CST. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing. Proposals must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the proposal preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely.
