- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting proposals under Solicitation No. VA-786-06-IB-0126 for the following construction services: Contractor(s) shall remove existing flagpoles and concrete bases, and provide and install new aluminum flagpoles and concrete base at three locations: Baton Rouge National Cemetery, Baton Rouge, LA; Memphis National Cemetery, Memphis, TN; and Corinth National Cemetery, Corinth, MS. Pursuant to FAR 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, this construction project's estimated price range is as follows: Between $25,000.00 and $100,000. This is a full and open competitive acquisition. All responsible contractors are encouraged to submit a proposal. The Government contemplates multiple awards (one for each location), however, a single award may be made. The NAICS code is 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors (Flagpole Installation). A copy of the solicitation may be obtained on the World Wide Web at FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov). Electronic solicitations will be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about August 28, 2006. Requests for hard copy of this solicitation must be in writing. Requests should be addressed to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration, Centralized Contracting Division (41D3A), Attn: Paul Daugherty, 5105 Russell Road, Quantico, VA 22134-3903. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:30 PM, September 11, 2006. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at FedBizOpps.
