- Notice of intent to increase the ceiling amount from $23M to $27.3 for IDIQ contract F41621-03-D-0001. Notice is being issued in accordance with FAR 5.201(b)(1)(ii). Syracuse Research Corporation (SRC) is currently performing an IDIQ contract for a project entitled ?Sensor Beam?. SRC performs tasks necessary to research, analyze, technically document, and perform reviews for electromagnetic systems, events, and signatures specified by the Air Force Information Warfare Center (AFIWC). Specifically these tasks include, but are not limited to, analytical studies, feasibility analyses, certification evaluations, quality reviews, system management studies, computer system administration and software process improvement, developing and updating analysis tools and methods using software process improvement, as well as all tasks necessary to perform a complete study of systems, events, and signatures. Systems include, but are not limited to, radar systems, missile warning receivers, electronic countermeasure systems, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) systems, communications systems, surface-to-air missiles, anti-aircraft artillery, and passive receiver systems. Events include, but are not limited to, radar cross sections (RCS) and EO/IR signatures of airborne targets, including aircraft, missiles, and physical countermeasures. Formats include those associated with the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Data Base (EWIRDB), the United States Electromagnetic Systems Data Base (USELMSDB), the Blue Airborne Targets System Data Base (BATS) and the Combat Support Data Base (CSDB). The current contract establishes a maximum of $23M. This action will increase the maximum by $4.3M to $27.3M to allow for continued support until anticipated expiration of the contract on 31 Oct 2007.
