- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB is issuing a special notice to acquire shop drawings, remove systems furniture from B868, and reinstall furniture in B884 per shop drawings and specifications. Contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, materials, services, and transportation necessary to remove existing systems furniture from building B868, Maxwell-Gunter AFB. Work to be performed IAW the Statement of Work (SOW). Note: For an offer to be acceptable, offerors shall submit with their proposals a manufacturer certification that their company specializing in the fabrication and production of prewired work stations for a minimum of 5 years. Location/Delivery will be FOB Destination, 501 Eastmore Drive, Building B884 Gunter AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. All interested offerers; Section 8a, Hubzone, Service Disabled Veteran, Woman Owned, GSA, Small Business and Large Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 337214 with a size standard of 500 employees. A Site Visit will be conducted on 5 Sep 2006 at 9:00 a.m.. Interested vendors will design and propose the layout that best fits the end-user?s needs. A formal solicitation will not be issued until after the site visit. Interested vendors must reply to this notice NO LATER THAN 12:00 p.m., CST, Thursday, 31 Aug 2006 via email. All prospective vendors will be responsible for checking FBO to obtain the solicitation, amendment or any other information pertaining to this requirement. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1.
