Description: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: 0001- Pavement cutter (joint and crack router). QTY: 3. This unit should be capable of following cracks in asphalt or concrete surfaces. Description: 25 horsepowered gas engine producing 3600 RPM with oil filter and oil cooler. Cutter head has 6-8 tooth carbide tipped cutters. Cutting width varies from 1/2" to 2". Unit includes clutch and twin matched "V" belts. Cutter head should be able to raise and lower a minimum of 4 inches by means of an electric lineal actuator operated by a fingertip control switch mounted on the operator handle. Clutch should be mounted on the engine to stop the cutter head. A drag plate should be mounted on the rear of the cutter housing. Unit should include a 12 volt battery. Unit should include a 6 gallon fuel tank. Includes a depth control gauge allowing for a maxium dept of 2 inches. Production rate of 500LM or 1500LF per hour. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F3V5H76214A100. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. North American Industrial Classification Standard 423810 , Size Standard, 100 Emp, applies to this procurement.
