Description
Buckley Air Force Base, CO has a requirement subject to the availability of funds in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.232-18, Availability of Funds. This presolicitation is in accordance with FAR Part 5. The requirement is a Request for Quote (RFQ), Non-personal Service ? The Contractor is responsible for providing all personnel, transportation and services in functioning as the Testing Examiner/Specialist in accordance with the Statement of Work and commercial standards. The Contractor shall administer tests, provide control of the tests and work with both military and civilian agencies that provide, score or otherwise control the tests used. The upcoming RFQ will be available on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. The RFQ will be available on or about 4 September 2006. The RFQ will close on or about 18 September 2006 with an anticipated award date of 1 October 2006. The proposed requirement will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside (Numbered Note 1). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This acquisition will be accomplished utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed price type contract. Basis of award will be the evaluation factors as stated in FAR 52.212-2. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/) Contractors must submit their representation and certification at the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). (See Internet site: http://orca.bpn.gov) The awardee will be required to submit their invoice via WAWF (See Internet Site: http://www.wawftraining.com). When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting form this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard is 611699, $6.5 million. No paper copies will be issued.
