- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation reference number is F3Z3456219A100; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 and Defense DCN 20060814. This acquisition will be unrestricted; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290. The business size standard is 750 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 4931. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7629. Travis AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to Quality Sound Enterprise, Inc for the following: Item 0001: 1 EA, Central Processing Unit MFG: EST Model: 3-CPU1. Item 0002: 1 EA, Display MFG: EST Model: 3-LCD. Item 0003: 1 EA, Primary Power Supply MFG: EST Model: 3-PPS/M. Item 0004: 2 EA, Dual Loop Controller MFG: EST Model: 3-SDDC. Item 0005: 1 EA, Cabinet MFG: EST Model: 3-CAB5. Item 0006: 2 EA, Battery MFG: EST Model: 12V17A. Item 0007: 40 EA, Control Relay MFG: EST Model: SIGA-MCR. Item 0008: 34 EA, Universal Module MFG: EST Model: SIGA-MAB. Item 0009: 13 EA, Input/Output Module MFG: EST Model: SIGA-UIO6R. Item 0010: 1 EA, Remote Cabinet MFG: EST Model: 3-RCC7R. Item 0011: 1 LOT, Associated Hardware. Item 0012: 1 LOT, Labor. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106(b)(1), soliciting from a single source when only one source is reasonably available and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quality Sound was the original installer of this fire alarm system and are in possession of the only set of design drawings and system schematics. This requirement is for non-personal services; contractor shall supply all tools, labor, materials and transportation to install one new fire alarm system panel which will replace four existing fire alarm system panels at Bldg 648 Travis AFB, CA 94535. Contractor shall reroute all existing notification, device, and pre-alarm circuits to the new panel. All work shall be in accordance with National Fire Protection Association NFPA 72 and associated rules and regulations. A 100 percent system test of the fire alarm system shall be performed, recorded, and forwarded to the end user. Contractor shall provide all associated drawings, software, and operator training. One year warranty included. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
