- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to purchase a Handheld Mobile ID System for the Security Forces Squadron located at Bolling Air Force Base, DC. It is the intent of this agency to award sole source to Mobilisa, Inc, Set-Aside as 100% HubZone. The Contractor shall provide a system which consists of: 1 desktop tower, w/512MB RAM, 80GB HD, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), tethered 1D/2D barcode scanner, 1 professional grade card printer, 500 blank visitor cards, 1 color camera, visitor center application with a Standard Warranty of 1 Year. MFR/BRAND: MOBILISA, item #M3000; Site survey; On-site inspection, coordination, project design, and implementation report shall be conducted prior to installation of equipment. MFR/BRAND: MOBILISA, item #1S901; and Installation and configuration of Defense ID visitor center by network engineers and product support specialists. MFR/BRAND: MOBILISA, item #1S906; training which includes one (1) 3-hours of "Train-the-Trainer" Sessions and one (1) 2-hours of "Train-the-Visitor" Center personnel sessions, 10-sets of visitor trainer/trainee material, and 2-sets of trainer documentation. Training will be conducted at Bolling AFB Visitor Center. MFR/BRAND: MOBILISA, item #1S922; subscription Services which consist of secure access to remote Defense ID Control Center with 3-year monthly subscription. MFR/BRAND: MOBILISA, item #M5300. Defense ID Database subscription with 3-year monthly subscription. MFR/BRAND: MOBILISA, item #SS900M. Inspection and acceptance terms: Items shall be priced FOB Destination. Delivery/Acceptance will be conducted at 421 Brookley Ave, Bolling AFB, DC 20032. All interested parties are encouraged to provide information on their capabilities to meet this requirement. In order to be considered a potential source, interested parties must submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement specified above and advantages of the Government to consider another source. The documentation shall include prices and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet this requirement. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent. If no affirmative written response is received within 14 calendar days after publication of this synopsis that a comparable source is available, an award will be made to Mobilisa, Inc. mentioned above. The period of performance for this shall commence on or before 20 September 2006.
