- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The subject solicitation, W912JA-06-R-CBH1, is for the procurement of Corporate Housing services for the Alabama Army National Guard at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 531311. The required service includes 19 1-bedroom apartments and 9 2-bedroom apartments fully furnished to include (but not limited to) furniture/lamps/waste baskets, linens, drapes/pictures, vacuum cleaner, iron/ironing board, kitchen appliances/cooking utensils , pots/pans, telephone, television/vcr/dvd, radio alarm clock, washer/dryer and all utilities to include cable. These apartments will be needed on or about 1 November 2006. Multiple locations will be acceptable. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP) that will be awarded to the offeror with the lowest priced technically acceptable proposal offering the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors: Price is the most important factor. Past performance and location of property are equal sub-factors and will be evaluated on a go/no go basis. PROVISIONS AND CLAUSES applicable to this acquisition are as follows: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, no addenda included; FAR 52.212-2 EvaluationCommercial Items FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, proposal shall include a completed copy of this provision; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, no addenda included; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. A Pre-Bid site inspection will tentatively be conducted Monday 18 September 2006.
