- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 301816Q297 is being issued in a Request For Quotations (RFQ) format. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside (SBSA). The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 331111, with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Line Item 0001: New section 10 gauge galvanized cold-rolled steel sheet pile rolled in accordance with ASTM A857, 8'-0" lengths x 18" widths: Thickness 0.134", Weight (Sq. ft.) 7.2 lbs., Section Modulus 2.2 in.?. Quantity is 1,000 pieces. Quotes are to indicate the unit price and extended amount. Indicate if delivery will be made F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services' Horicon National Wildlife Refuge, located near Mayville, Wisconsin 53050 or if shipping will be applied. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition (FAR provisions and clauses are available for review at http://www.arnet.gov/far). Quotes will be evaluated and award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible offeror submitting a fair and reasonable price and meeting the terms of this solicitation. The FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items pertains as applicable to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to this solicitation: 52.219-6, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-1, 52.225-13, 52.232-33, and 52.232-36. Quotes are due to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 3, Contracting and Facilities Management Office, 1 Federal Drive, Fort Snelling, Minnesota 55111-4056 by 4:00 p.m. CDT on September 11, 2006.
