- Description
- The General Services Administration ? Federal Technology Service, on behalf of the U.S. Air Force, intends to award a sole source contract for specific courses for training support of the Air Force Transformation of Acquisition Support (AFTAS)requirement. A sole source contract shall be awarded to Hammer and Co., One Cambridge Center, Cambridge, MA, 02142, to support the AFTAS requirement. This contract will be incorporated into GSA task order number PT575011T1 in accordance with FAR 8.402(f). Authority: 10U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Justification: Products required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of product will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for products that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government shall give consideration to any responses received within 10 days within the date of publication of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
