Description

*********ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision to excavate to the proper elevation; install forms for a new 20ft X 16 ft concrete slab on grade, including reinforcement rebar and wire mesh. Installation of new water and sewer lines associated plumbing, and concrete vale pit. Installation of approximately 1250 ft of underground PVC conduit including conductors, installation of new Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) scoreboard and construction of the building. This project is located at USCG Integrated Support Command softball field KMA, KODIAK, ALASKA. Materials, workmanship, and installation shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. ***********Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. ************ GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: as stated in Statement of Work. Performance Period is 30-45 days. (2) COPIES OF SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer’s catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition MSDS’s, references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ACI304, ACI347, UBC, NEC, State of Alaska Administrative Codes, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards; Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), ANSI Standards, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), MIL SPEC, FED STD, and applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY June 28, 2006. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is UNDER $25,000. This is a small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately June 28, 2006. Written quotes will be due on / about July 15, 2006.
