- The National Institutes of Health intends to Negotiate and award, on a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisitions procedures to District Safety Products Inc. P.O. Box 1877 Centreville, Va. 20122. For a Model 430 Industrial Scrubber/Sweeper, with a ten (10 year warranty on parts and a one (1) Year warranty on labor, price includes delivery & Training. Because of the companys past efficiencies of operations and dependability dealing with the Div. of Veterinary Resources it is the Governments belief that only District Safety Products, Inc. can meet the need. The following are the minimal expectations and specifications for the industrial scrubber/sweeper. 1. shall have high brush pressure and side ways off set brush nit excellent cleaning performance and edge close cleaning along walls. the unit should have seeeping path of a minimum of 51' 2. shall have mechanically operated brush and squeegee lifting with a minimum of Two (2) Nine inch brushes that operate at a speed of no less than 450 rpm 3. Shall have compact design with turnning circle of no more than 2 meters. 4. Shall have battery system capability of up to 1,000 ah. 5. Shall have a solution tank capacity of at least 60 gallons in order to reduce the frequency of times the unit needs to be dumped and refille. 6. Shall have non marking wheels. 7. Shall have a warrant on parts an labor of a minimum of a year. Interested parties may idendity their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However; all quotations received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acqusition requirement based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purose of determining whether to conduct a competitive aquisition.
