Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. (ii) The solicitation number is SWPR20021296A. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) incorporating provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-14, dated August 4, 2006. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 531110, for which the size standard is an average gross receipts of $6.5 million (not to exceed) for the previous three years. DESCRIPTION: Executive apartment to be leased for twelve (12) months commencing October 1, 2006. One bedroom, non-smoking, to be located in building within three blocks of Washington, DC Metro stops at Rosslyn, the Pentagon, Pentagon City or Crystal City. Building shall have security provided by both door attendant on duty 24/7 and access restricted by possession of either a key, a key card or similarly functioning item. Building shall have a work out room equipped with exercise and weight training equipment. A parking space shall be provided at no extra cost. The apartment shall include, but not be limited to furniture for living room, dining room and bedroom with a minimum of one queen size bed. Also, shall include all utilities; unlimited local and Continental US phone service, high speed internet with a desk lamp and chair located in close proximity to the connection; cable television with television sets both in living room and bedroom; washer and dryer located in the apartment; two(2) sets of bed linens, four(4) bath towel sets and two (2) kitchen towel/dishcloth sets onsite to be exchanged as required during weekly and/or transitional cleaning; housekeeping items to include vacuum, dustpan, broom, bowel brush and other appropriate supplies/equipment necessary to maintain cleanliness between maid visits; fully equipped kitchen to include, but not limited to place settings for four(4), toaster, can opener, coffee pot, microwave, large frying, sauce pans, Dutch oven, knives, utensils, etc; window treatments and wall decorations. More than one apartment may be offered, but the actual apartment to be occupied must be available for inspection. Offer must list DUNS number and Federal Tax ID Number (TIN). All offerors must be in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at the time of award and must accept payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Offers will be evaluated based on the criteria listed above, security, availability and distances to Metro, restaurants, and grocers and the condition and size of the apartments in that order of importance.
