- Description
- The United States Department of State, Office of Overseas Buildings Operations, is seeking qualified construction firms (both U.S. and non-U.S are eligible to apply) for a site preparation project at the new U.S. Consulate Complex in Guangzhou, China. The site is approximately three hectares in area. This work will consist of: 1. Removal of unsuitable soil or fill; 2. Grading, excavation, shoring; 3. Installation of the proper site drainage and dewatering systems; 4. Construction of temporary construction facilities and utility connections. The tender will consist of two phases: PHASE 1: PREQUALIFICATION - interested contractors will be evaluated against criteria relating to their technical qualifications, past performance on projects of similar size and scope of work, available manpower, equipment, and financial resources, and business management plan. PHASE 2: SUBMISSION OF COST PROPOSAL ? a Request for Proposal will be sent to those contractors determined to be qualified in Phase 1. The second phase will be based on price and technical factors, with an award be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer.**************SEE ATTACHED******************
