Description
POC: Chad Galioto, 609-562-2700, chad.galioto@dix.army.mil SCOPE OF WORK FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF COLD/DRY STORAGE FACILITY BUILDING 3140, Fort Dix, NJ 1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.1. SCOPE OF WORK 1.1.2 The contractor shall provide the skilled labor, tools, parts and all required materials necessary to perform scheduled maintenance (section 4) and repair as identified herein. Scheduled M&R shall be provided at no additional cost to the government. 1.1.3 The contractor shall provide the skilled labor, tools, parts and all required materials necessary to perform repairs not identified as scheduled Maintenance and Repair (M&R) herein. These repairs shall be provided on a time and material basis. The co ntractor shall be paid at the contract negotiated hourly rate and reimbursed for the actual cost of parts and material. 1.1.4 The contractor shall install all on-line equipment necessary (hardware and software) to communicate with the automated refrigeration monitoring system. 1.1.4.1 The contractor shall at any time through the use of a modem-linked computer be able to check and adjust temperature and operating conditions of the equipment supporting the cold storage areas. Temperature and operating conditions shall be checked a minimum of twice daily. 1.1.5 The contractor shall be responsible for any damages to equipment, systems or facilities caused by him or any subcontractor employed by him. Any such damage shall be repaired by the contractor at no additional cost to the Government. 1.1.6 The contractor shall be required to leave the jobsite in a safe and secure condition after each days work. The contractor shall at the end of each working day, remove from the work site all debris resulting from the performance of work. This daily c leanup does not alleviate the contractor from performing a final cleanup after the required work has been completed. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to restore the work area to original condition and dispose of all trash and debris. 1.1.7 The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the areas he services in a clean, neat and orderly condition. The contractor is reminded that this facility stores and distributes perishable food. Cleanliness and good housekeeping shall be a prime consideration at all times during the execution of this contract.
