Description
Synopsis W15P7T-06-R-C007 The United States Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to procure the CP-1252C Computer Display Units (CDUs), NSN 5841-01-399-5513, and CP-1252C CDU Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), NSNs 5998-01-436-1891, 5998-01-135-2363, 5998-01-436-1892, and 5998-01-135-2366. The anticipated effort is intended to be a Firm Fixed Price, Five (5) Year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), sole source contract to BAE Systems Information and Ele ctronics System Integration (BAE), 164 Totowa Road, Wayne, New Jersey 07470-0311. BAE is the original equipment manufacturer of the AN/ASN-128B DGNS, CP-1252C CDU and associated CCAs. The technical data for the AN/ASN-128B DGNS is proprietary to BAE. The Government does not possess a detailed Technical Data Package (TDP) for the AN/ASN-128B DGNS or its associated CDUs and CCAs. The CP-1252C CDU is part of the AN/ASN-128 B/D Doppler Global Positioning System (GPS) Navigation Set (DGNS). The AN/ASN-128 B/D DGNS is a key sensor component used to provide continuous velocity, navigation, and guidance information on the CH-47D Chinook and UH-60A/L Black Hawk helicopters. The CP-1252C CDU is used to display navigation/GPS data, and for input of destinations. The CP-1252C CDU, combined with a Signal Data Converter and a Receiver-Transmitter Antenna, make up a complete AN/ASN-128B/D DGNS. The CCAs are components of the CP-1252C CDU and process data inputs to enable display of navigational data on the CDU. The NAIC S code for this procurement is 334511 with the corresponding small business size standard of 750 employees. Items shall be shipped FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. The potential Offeror must have the ability to abide by the following delivery schedule: -52 units each (EA) of the CP-1252C/ASN-128B, NSN 5841-01-339-5513, in October 2007, then 60 units a month thereafter until completion. -32 units each (EA) of NSN 5998-01-436-1891, NSN 5998-01-135-2363, NSN 5998-01-436-1892, and NSN 5999-01-135-2366 sixty (60) days after receipt of a delivery order, then 30 each month thereafter until completion. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Source. The estimated minimum amount for this contract is $5,187,924.00 and the estimated maximum will be $35,578,516.00. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-06-R-C007 and will be issued on or ab out 29 September 2006. The estimated award date of this procurement is 27 December 2006.
