Description
This is Amendment # 01 to the initial synopsis, which was published May 16th in the Federal Business Opportunities. Due to the complex nature of the procurement requirements and the solicitation process, the 2 Performance Work Statements (PWS) will be solicited separately under their own RFPs. PWS P#2 entitled "Gene Family Panel Screening of the ToxCast Compouind Library" will be issued under solicitation # PR-HQ-06-14708 by the Headquarters Procurement Operations Division of the Office of Acquisition Management of the U.S. EPA. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE PROCURED AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED: FULL AND OPEN COMPETITIVE PROCEDURE. PWS P#6 entitled "High-Content/Multiple Endpoint Cell-based Analysis of the ToxCast Compound Library" will be issued under solicitation # PR-HQ-06-14960 by the Headquarters Procurement Operations Division of the Office of Acquisition Management of the U.S. EPA. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE PROCURED AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED: SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE COMPETITIVE PROCEDURE. THE APPLICABLE NAICS CODE for the SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IS 541710 WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF 500 EMPLOYEES!! All potential offerors and interested parties should make note of this procedural change. There are no other changes to the solicitation process. Each solicitation will have its own independent webpage. Please visit the EPA website to review all documents that relate to the program and these procurements.
