- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to provide the following questions and answers: 1. Are all of the lockers to be removed and installed in one room in one building? Yes. 2. Are all of the lockers to be removed and installed on the same floor? If so, which floor and how far will the lockers have to be transported from the truck unloading area? Yes. First floor. Approximately 200 feet. 3. Does the Government wish to maintain possession of the lockers for reuse or recycling, or is disposal the responsibility of the contractor? If contractor is responsible for disposal, of what material are the existing lockers made? The Government shall maintain possession of 10 lockers. Disposal shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Current lockers are particle board with a laminate cover. 4. Do Davis-Bacon Act or California Prevailing Wage Rates apply to labor? No. This requirement is principally for the product and not the service. 5. Should the Government choose not to engage the installation and removal services of the contractor, will Government personnel be available to offload the lockers upon arrival? Yes. 6. The solicitation does not include a requirement for raised bases for the new lockers. Are the existing lockers on raised concrete bases and are the existing bases at least 18 inch deep (for wall mounted lockers) and 36 inch deep for back-to-back lockers? There is a concrete base below the current lockers. The existing bases are 16 inch wide/deep for wall mounted lockers and 32 inch wide/deep for back to back lockers.
