- Training Support for the National Security Class Cutters based upon the current design, configuration and equipment selection for WMSL-750 through WMSL-757. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Indal to provide development and implementing training courses for U.S. Coast Guard crews on maintenance and operations of the installed Helicopter Traversing System on board all eight (8) WMSLs being procured as part of the Deepwater Acquisition Project. The Government anticipates making a fixed priced award with no economic price adjustment with one base year and 4 one year options periods. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This requirement is to acquire Training Support for the following: Course Title: Helo Assist Traversing System Onboard Maintainer Course Description: To provide training to designated personnel in the Electrical and Auxiliary Division E-5 and above (Requires Development) Course Location: Toronto, Canada Course Duration: 10 days Number of convenings per year: 2 Course Title: Helo Assist Traversing System Operator Course Description: This course is designed for those operating in vicinity of the flight deck in support of embarked aircraft operations. Course Location: Toronto, Canada Course Duration: 5 days Number of convenings per year: 2 The services included with this intended procurement include all tuition costs, production and reproduction of all course materials, commercial instructors to provide the training and use of all training aids/equipment/classrooms. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirements. Failure to submit such documentation will result in the Government proceeding as stated above. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Affirmative written responses must be received no later than 15 days after publication of this synopsis.
