Description
Training Support for the National Security Class Cutters based upon the current design, configuration and equipment selection for WMSL-750 through WMSL-757. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine to provide training to crews on maintenance and operations of the Integrated Bridge System, Machinery Control & Monitoring System, Steering Console and the MK-39 and MK27F Gyrocompasses on board all eight (8) WMSLs being procured as part of the Deepwater Acquisition Project. The Government anticipates making a fixed priced award with no economic price adjustment with one base year and 4 one year options periods. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This requirement is to acquire Training Support for the following: Course Title Machinery Control & Monitoring System Console Operator Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to operate and monitor the NSC Machinery Control system Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 5 days Number of convenings per year: 3 Course Title: Machinery Control & Monitoring System Console Maintainer Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to operate and monitor the NSC Machinery Control system Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 5 days Number of convenings per year: 2 Course Title: Integrated Bridge System Operator Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to operate the components of the NSC IBS. Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 4days Number of convenings per year: 3 Course Title: Integrated Bridge System Maintenance Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to maintain the components of the NSC IBS Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 4 days Number of convenings per year: 2 Course Title: Steering Console Operator Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to operate and monitor the Steering Console Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 2 days Number of convenings per year: 2 Course Title: Steering Console Maintainer Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to maintain the Steering Console Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 3 days Number of convenings per year: 2 Course Title: NSC Gyrocompass Technician MK-39 Maintenance Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to maintain the MK-39 Gyro Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 5 days Number of convenings per year: 2 Course Title: NSC Gyrocompass Technician MK-27F Maintenance Course Description: Course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to maintain the MK-27F Fiber optic Gyro Course Location: Charlottesville, VA Course Duration: 3 days Number of convenings per year: 2 The services included with this intended procurement include all tuition costs, production and reproduction of all course materials, commercial instructors to provide the training and use of all training aids/equipment/classrooms. All written responses must include a written narrative statement of capability, including detailed technical information demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirements. The response must be sufficient to permit agency analysis to establish a bonafide capability to meet the requirements. Failure to submit such documentation will result in the Government proceeding as stated above. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Affirmative written responses must be received no later than 15 days after publication of this synopsis.
