OC-ALC/748 CBSG/PKP (405) 739-4440. ITEM 0001: NSN 2840-01-207-3191JF, PN: 9524M34G03, NOUN: TURBINE MOUNT RING APPLICABLE TO THE F1101-102 ENGINE. DELIVERY DESTINATION: TINKER AFB, OK 73145. DELIVERY BEGINNING AUGUST 2008 . QUANTITY RANGES FOR PRICING PURPOSES: (1-9), (10-19), (20-30). BEQ IS 20 EACH; HOWEVER QUANTITY WILL BE DECIDED AT TIME OF AWARD. Anticipated solicitation date will be 18 SEP 2006. Anticipated response date will be 20 OCT 2006. Anticipated award date will be 17 NOV 206. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOps and should be obtained from there. Please do not call this office for a solicitation. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor is acceptable. Qualification Requirements: The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 October 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(a) do not apply. Prequalification of sources is essential to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety. A Government First Article Test will be required if the contractor has not made this item within the past 36 months. Qualification requirements are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. Interested parties may contact OC-ALC/BC, Tinker AFB, OK 73145 for Source Approval Requests (SAR) information. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal/quote/bid, which if timely, will be considered. The solicitation/procurement data listed above is approved for release only to US DOD contractors who are registered and certified with the Defense Logistics Information Center (DLIS). Submission of DD2345, Military Technical Data Agreement, with your request for the solicitation is required as specified in the International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR) 22 CFR sections 121 through 128. According to FAR 4.1102 (Oct 03), ?Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central contractor Registration (CCR) managed by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) prior to award of a contract or agreement.? Based upon market research, the government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal developmental phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer or the program director but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
