Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is W911QX-06-T-0179. This acquisition is issued as an Request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to solicit only one source. The proposed contract action is for equipment for which the Government is soliciting and negotiati ng with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302(1). The company in which the Government intends to award a contract is CGT-Cold Gas Technology GmbH OF Ampfing, Germany distributed by ASB Industries 1031 Lambert Street Barberton, Ohio 44203-1689. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date of this solicitation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 27-2005. (iv) The associated NAICS code is 332117. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (v) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): CLIN 001 Quantity: 1 Unit of Measure: each Description: Kinetiks-47KW-N2HE Kinetiks 4000/47 47KW-N2 He-ActiveJet-HT800/30 Cold Spray System. CLIN 002 Quantity: 1 Unit of Measure: each Description: Shipping, Packaging, and Training. (vi) Description of requirements: N/A. (vii) Delivery is required by January 31, 2007. Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Labortory Shipping and Receiving ABERDEEN PROVING GROUNDS APG, MD 21005-5001.Acceptance shall be performed at the same location. The FOB point is destination. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: none. (ix) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, with its offer.
