Description
The Fleet Industrial Supply Center, San Diego intends to procure for maintenance and repair services for the Vadose Zone Monitoring System installed at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego (FISC) Fuel Depot located on Point Loma. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract with one (1) option year. The period of performance for the base year will be 1 October 2006 through 30 September 2007. The option year will be from 1October 2007 to 30 September 2008. FOB Destination. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 562910 and a size standard of $13,000,000. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement will be negotiated on an other than full and open competition basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) with Summit Holdings, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 31 August 06. The closing date of the solicitation will be 7 August 06, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to Jaime.jerde@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from NECO. The offeror must have a current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov ). Any questions should be submitted in writing via e-mailed to Jaime.jerde@navy.mil.
