- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to solicit and award, on a full and open competitive basis, a firm fixed-price purchase order for upgrade to HSL 15 and storage of HSLs and davits, in accordance with the Statement of Work. Upgrade/storage includes installation of new UPS, installation of shore power reverse polarity alarm, installation of transducer removal bar, shrinkwrap of four launches, shrinkwrap of two HSL davits, recertification of spreader bar and slings, and traning/parts manuals. Work to be performed at contractors facility and at Stennis Space Center. Contractor must be located within a 100 mile radius of Stennis Space Center, MS. This unrestricted action is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The SIC code is 3731. Solicitation will be conducted orally. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer.
