Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source contract to FactSet Research Systems Inc for the provision of historical price and implied volatility data for the U.S. equity and index options. The period of performance for this award is: 15 September 2006 through 14 September 2007. The SEC believes FactSet Research Systems Inc to be the only known source that possesses the capability required. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements, and qualifications for the provision of this service, which may or may not be considered by the agency. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement, and no other information will be provided.
